In the broadest possible sense, sustainability refers to the ability of something to maintain or "sustain" itself over time. According to the Brundtland Commission's report, sustainable development, the processes used to pursue sustainability, means "meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs."
Sustainable practices support ecological, human, and economic health and vitality. Sustainability presumes that resources are finite, and should be used conservatively and wisely with a view to long-term priorities and consequences of the ways in which resources are used. In simplest terms, sustainability is about our children and our grandchildren, and the world we will leave them.
Plastic is derived from petroleum, which is a non-renewable resource. Meanwhile, most plastic cannnot be degradeble in nature condition, which cause serious “White Pollution” to ecosystem. Therefore, decreasing the plastic consumption in food packaging industry must be promoted under the concept of sustainable development.
Based on the concept of sustainable development, we are also focusing on developing products that fit this concept. We products will help to decrease the plastic consumption and avoid plastic pollution to ecosystem. We will continue move on this path and bring this concept to all of our customers.
